Our Modern Concrete Grade Crossings are the first ever produced in HO Scale! BLMA took the time in designing the grade crossings to ensure that they are not only exactly correct for the prototype, but they worked correctly with 99% of the rolling stock available.
BLMA rubber and concrete grade crossings are made to simulate two-lane highway crossings though adding sets together will create a crossing of any length for any size road.
Molded in gray plastic with a depth of .060", our crossings will work easily in Code 70, 83, and 100 rail. Each package makes a crossing that is roughly 5.5" in length.

This is a set of 18 plastic telephone poles. Line poles add a great degree of realism with little effort. We try to use them as often as possible. To improve their plastic appearance, we drag a fine razor saw down the length of the pole. Paint the poles with Polly Scale Earth or any light sand color. Then apply a black wash of alcohol and ink. To bring out the grain, dry brush white. You can also, with a small brush paint the insulators green. The real ones are made of glass, so give them a coat of varnish.

Use this fencing as is or weather it for a worn appearance, George Sellios of Fine Scale Miniatures fame has a great technique for modeling the board fence. For a dilapidated look, cut the tops and bottoms of the boards randomly with a razor blad, even remove boards entirely. When you paint them, paint a few different colors as if they were repaired or replaced. Then depening on your era, add signs and posters.
